This is a 12-year-old Highland single malt from Tullibardine, bottled for Cadenhead's Original Collection. It was distilled in 2012. After a tasting in 2021, the team chose to move the whisky into Palo Cortado sherry casks for a finish. It was released in August 2024 at 46%, without chill-filtering or added colour.
The nose has chocolate orange, syrup and liquorice. On the palate, dark chocolate and maraschino cherries meet dried apricot and dried mango. The finish carries coffee, salted caramel truffle and nutmeg, with a chalky impression.
