This is a 10 year old vatted malt from North Star, bottled at 50.7%. It combines Springbank, Glen Scotia and other Campbeltown malts, drawn from first fill and refill casks. The bottling is limited to 1,554 bottles.
The nose is caramelised grapefruit and fresh vanilla pods. On the palate it is salty and waxy in texture, with light smoke and a distinct Campbeltown funk. The finish brings warm orange peel and a touch of paraffin, with an oily quality.
