Campbeltown Loch Blended Malt

Campbeltown Loch is a blended malt from J&A Mitchell & Co, the company behind Springbank Distillery. It combines single malts from the three Campbeltown distilleries and is matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks. The blend pairs maritime coastal notes with hints of sweet peat, soft fruits and spice. The nose has soft peach, apricot and floral honey, with lemon meringue and a touch of salty soot. The palate is oily, with sweet vanilla caramel and baked fruit, seaweed salinity, baking spice and a little peat. The finish brings ginger, nutmeg, sweet tea, oatcakes and lightly smoky oak.
