Campbeltown Loch is a blended malt Scotch whisky made from all five malts of Campbeltown's three distilleries. It was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, then vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration or added colour.
The nose has a distinct buttery note and a hint of sea salt, with ginger loaf and pecan pie. The palate brings creamy coffee, salted caramel, date syrup and crystallised brown sugar, with a subtle hint of peat smoke. In the finish the peat smoke builds and a leathery note develops over time.
