Canadian Club is a blended Canadian whisky made at the Hiram Walker & Sons distillery in Windsor, Ontario, bottled at 40% ABV in a 375ml bottle.
The mashbill is rye, rye malt, barley malt and corn. The rye and barley components are pot distilled and the corn is column distilled. All the distillates are blended before they go into white oak barrels, so the flavours develop together throughout maturation.
The nose is buttery oak and caramel with almond and light pepper. The palate is soft and dry, with honeyed rye toast, taffy and vanilla. The finish is clean and dry, with oak spice and a hint of pepper.
