Canadian Mist Blended Canadian Whisky (175cl, 40%)

Canadian Mist is a blended Canadian whisky bottled at 40% ABV, here in a large 1.75-litre bottle. It pours a medium amber colour. The distillers describe it as smooth and mellow, and as an easy whisky to share. It is suggested both for simple serves with a mixer and for relaxed versions of classic cocktails. In the glass, the nose is somewhat grainy, with chocolate-covered citrus peel, barrel wood, wort, raw distillate and pepper. The palate opens soft and brisk, then moves to a dryish, medium body of vanilla pudding, spice and roasted nuts. It finishes with a peppery vanilla fade.
