Pellegrino Amaro is an amber-coloured Italian amaro from Cantine Pellegrino, the family-owned Marsala house founded in 1880 by Paolo Pellegrino. It is traditionally served as an after-dinner digestive and is increasingly used in both classic and new cocktails.
On the nose it is complex and spicy, with hints of dried fruit flowers, tobacco, coffee, caramel, candied fruit and vanilla. The palate is dry and persistent, with freshness and acidity.
