An independent Islay single malt from Caol Ila distillery, distilled in 2011 and matured for 10 years in refill casks. Adelphi Selection bottled it at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
Brine and smoke on the nose mix with heather, citrus zest and gentle spice. The palate brings ashy peat, bitter chocolate and subtle vanilla in balance. The finish is long and lingering, with a maritime character.
