This is a 10 year old Caol Ila, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2023 at 48% ABV, released for the 30th anniversary of Wilson & Morgan. It was matured in Oloroso sherry casks.
The sherry wood adds rich, nutty and fruity notes, which sit alongside the traditional peat smoke of Caol Ila. Sweetness and spice from the casks round out a full-bodied, deep whisky.
