A 12 year old Islay single malt from Caol Ila, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2025 by James Eadie. It is a commemorative release that pays tribute to W. Y. Crowe's reference book The Distilleries of Great Britain & Ireland 1922-1929.
The whisky matured in a single re-charred American oak hogshead and is individually numbered. It was bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and natural in colour.
The re-charred oak adds vanilla, caramel and warming spice to the maritime peat of Caol Ila.
