This is an 11 year old Islay single malt from Caol Ila, bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.3% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is part of the 2024 Diageo Special Releases and carries the name Ambrosial Feast.
Caol Ila was last seen in the Special Releases in 2018. This whisky was matured in a combination of refill and rejuvenated wine casks, made from both American and European oak. Diageo uses the term rejuvenated for casks that have been shaved, toasted and re-charred.
