A 13-year-old single malt from Caol Ila on Islay, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as part of its Discovery range. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery lies north of Port Askaig on the Sound of Islay. It dates from 1846, and its stillhouse was completely rebuilt in 1974 with six stills. Owned today by Diageo, it is regarded as a workhorse, producing mainly for blends such as Johnnie Walker.
