A single malt from Caol Ila on Islay, distilled in 1991 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail at 55.5% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery sits north of Port Askaig on the Sound of Islay, facing Jura. It dates from 1846 and has had a completely rebuilt stillhouse with six stills since 1974. Diageo owns it today, and most of what it makes goes into blends, notably Johnnie Walker.
