A single malt from Caol Ila on Islay, from the 2010 vintage and bottled by Hunter Laing under its Hepburn's Choice label. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. The distillery stands north of Port Askaig, directly on the Sound of Islay, with a view across to Jura. It was built in 1846 and has worked from a rebuilt stillhouse with six stills since 1974. Diageo owns it, and much of its spirit goes into blends, Johnnie Walker among them.
