A single malt from Caol Ila, the Islay distillery north of Port Askaig on the Sound of Islay. This bottling carries the 2007 vintage and is bottled at 55.7% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was built in 1846 and has had a rebuilt stillhouse with six stills since 1974. It looks across the water to Jura and is owned by Diageo. Much of its spirit goes into blends, notably Johnnie Walker.
