A 14-year-old Islay single malt from Caol Ila, distilled in April 2011 and bottled in August 2025 by North Star Spirits at 48.5%. It is non-chill-filtered, uncoloured and comes in a 70cl bottle.
It is a small batch in the Obscurities & Curiosities series, vatted from three refill hogsheads.
The nose brings sea air and citrus peel over gentle bonfire smoke. On the palate smoked malt and salted caramel meet lemon oil and warm spice. The long, dry finish recalls driftwood and peat, ending on mineral coastal notes.
