A peated Islay single malt from Caol Ila, bottled by Claxton's in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2016 and matured for 10 years in a Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead before bottling in 2026.
The cask adds fruit, sweetness and spice while the maritime Caol Ila character stays in front. It was bottled at cask strength, 55.7% ABV, in natural colour and without chill-filtration. The release is limited to 332 bottles.
Claxton's has bottled selected whiskies since 2011 at the Dalswinton Estate in the south of Scotland.
