Caol Ila – 24 Year Old 175th Anniversary Release (52.1%)

This is Caol Ila 24 Year Old, released for the distillery's 175th anniversary. The single malt spent 24 years maturing on Islay and was bottled at 52.1% ABV, limited to 3000 bottles. The release takes its inspiration from the sunrises seen on Islay since the east-facing distillery opened in 1846. It comes in a bespoke box illustrated with the Caol Ila puffer boat's journey to the mainland in the early morning light.
