Caol Ila 25 Years Old is an Islay single malt bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery was built in 1846 by Hector Henderson on the shore, and has belonged to the Diageo group since 1987. Its name is usually translated as Sound of Islay. Caol Ila is known for its intense peatiness, and the 25 year old joined the standard range in 2010.
