Caol Ila – Distillers Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Caol Ila Distillers Edition is an Islay single malt in a 700ml bottle at 43% ABV. The selected casks were chosen for double maturation, and each bottle carries a release number that identifies them. It is richer, more intense and more layered than the regular Caol Ila expressions, while staying true to the distillery character first seen in 1846. The flavour is deep, sweet and smoky. The aromas are of pure sea air, and the flavours are sweet and smoky-dry with a complex, rich spiciness.
