Caol Ila Distillers Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is made from casks chosen for double maturation, and each bottle carries a release number that marks that selection.
The distillery's character is said to date back to 1846, and this edition keeps to it. It is described as having pure sea-air aromas alongside sweet, smoky-dry flavours and a rich, complex spiciness.
