Caperdonich – 1992 Potstill Painters Edition (70cl, 46.3%)

This is a single malt Scotch whisky from Caperdonich, distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2013 at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition of 108 bottles, and this one is bottle number 85. The label carries artwork by Gerhard Flekatsch, which gives the Painters Edition its name. Caperdonich was founded in 1897 by James Grant as Glen Grant No. 2, across from Glen Grant. It was reopened under its present name in 1965, closed in 2002 and demolished at the end of 2010.
