This is Cardhu 12 Year Old, a Speyside single malt matured in wine casks and released for the distillery's 200th anniversary. The nose offers red berries and stewed apple, with dark chocolate and a little caramel. On the palate there is red fruit, a touch of cinnamon and more dark chocolate. The finish brings a little spice and vanilla.
