This is the Cardhu 14 Year Old from the 2021 Special Releases, a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 55.5% ABV.
It has a light body and floral character, with a smooth finish.
The nose is mild and fruity, with a background of buttery pastry. On the palate come white grape, lychee and green apple, with a little spice and a whisper of orange zest. It can be taken neat or with a drop of water, which is said to bring out the floral side.
