Cardhu – 18 Years

Cardhu 18 Years is a single malt from the Speyside distillery, matured in cask for 18 years. It keeps the soft, approachable style of the distillery and adds richer notes of fruit, leather and chocolate. The colour is a bright copper. The nose is fruity, with pears, plums, cherries, a hint of pineapple and gooseberries, and behind them rose, menthol and a slightly leathery note. The palate is rich and velvety, sweet and full of fruit, followed by chocolate and gentle oak. The finish is long and soft, lightly dry, with a memory of cocoa.
