Cardhu 18 Years is a single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle and released in 2013.
It was matured only in refill casks. The distillery was extensively rebuilt in 1961 and now runs three wash stills and three spirit stills, heated by steam, with eight washbacks made of Scandinavian larch.
The palate is smooth, with fruit, vanilla, honey and spice. The finish is long and rounded, with a light drying spiciness and a hint of peat.
