Cardhu 21 Year Old Limited Edition is a Speyside single malt bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.2%, in a 70cl bottle. It is part of Diageo's Special Releases, with 6,000 bottles produced worldwide.
The whisky was distilled in 1991, aged entirely in ex-Bourbon casks and bottled in 2013.
The nose is floral, with fresh apples, peaches and vanilla over caramel and fragrant wood. The palate is creamy at first, with malt, dark fruits such as figs and dates, roasted nuts and drying cinnamon.
