Just Hatched is a natural cask strength single malt from Cardrona Distillery in New Zealand, bottled to mark the distillery reaching three years old. It is a blend of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, in a 37.5cl bottle.
The spirit was distilled in two Forsyth copper pot stills, and Cardrona's own Alpine water is credited with giving it a mineral character.
The notes are of borage flower honey and vanilla spice, with a weighted feel on the tongue.
