This is a 10 year old single malt from Balmenach, a Speyside distillery. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled by Carn Mor at 47.5%. Balmenach has never had an official distillery bottling and is rarely seen even among independent releases.
The distillery is one of the most traditional in Speyside, making an old-style whisky that is rich and lends itself to sherry maturation.
