A single cask Speyside malt from Balmenach, distilled in 2004 and bottled at 11 years old for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 48.62, under the name Magic Citrus Water Punch. It matured in a first-fill bourbon cask and was bottled at 53.6% ABV, with 59 bottles filled.
Balmenach stands on the River Spey in the Cromdale district and is one of the distilleries licensed after the Excise Act 1823. The whisky is described as sitting between fruity and floral, with a hint of fabric softener, and finishing on an intense note of spice and oak.
