This Knockando from Carn Mor is a 2009 single malt Scotch, bottled at 47.5% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in European oak.
Knockando distillery was founded in 1898 by John Thompson and run by the Knockando-Glenlivet Distillery Company. Charles Doig designed the site, and the name comes from the Gaelic Cnoc-an-dhu, meaning small black hill.
The palate offers coffee cake, brown sugar and toasted nuts, with warm notes of chocolate, coffee and nut tart with toffee cream.
