Carnlough 24 Year Old Single Malt Cask 2 (46%)

Carnlough 24 Year Old is a single malt bottled at 46% from a single cask, Cask 2. It was first aged in ex-bourbon casks, then finished at sea in a ruby port quarter cask, where the movement of the waves increases contact with the wood and so adds more flavour. The Carnlough whiskeys celebrate the heritage of Ann Murray, a legendary distiller of the Glens, born in Waterfoot in 1747. Known as Nanny, she lived as a hermit in a nearby cave and was famed for her poteen.
