Caroni – 1997 Sherry Finish Rum Nation is a rum from Caroni (Trinidad and Tobago). Bottled at 57.8% ABV, 70cl. The Rossi family behind Rum Nation (as well as Wilson & Morgan) have a long history in importing and distributing whisky after visiting Scottish distilleries, sampling spirits and selecting the ones they considered of a fine quality. However, after noticing the Caribbean rum casks in British warehouses - kept in the damper, cooler climate after their tropical aging - Fabio Rossi decided to create Rum Nation in 1999. To respect the regions of distilling, the rums are labeled under their geographical location rather than the distillery name and the illustration features local postage stamps. About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
