Carúpano Legendario - Carupano (70cl)

Carúpano Legendario is a dark rum from the Venezuelan distillery Carupano, made with careful selection of the region's best sugar canes. It is aged for a prolonged period in selected oak casks. The nose offers intense aromas of vanilla, cocoa and ripe tropical fruit, with subtle notes of tobacco and leather. On the palate it is layered and rich, moving from delicate molasses and caramel sweetness to darker notes of dark chocolate and exotic spices; the finish is long and persistent with cinnamon and nutmeg, wrapped in an almost creamy softness. It is suited to drinking neat or on the rocks.
