Catoctin Creek – Rabble Rouser Rye (50%)

Catoctin Creek Rabble Rouser is a rye whisky made from 100% rye and aged for four years. It was bottled at 100 proof, which is 50% ABV, and pours a deep mahogany. Because rye is the only grain in the bottle, spice is prominent. The nose offers cherries and toasted marshmallows. On the palate, pepper and ash sit alongside plenty of caramel, much like the centre of a caramel candy bar.
