This is an American rye whisky from Catoctin Creek, bottled at 92 proof (46%) in a 70cl bottle.
It is described as medium dry and lighter bodied, with a velvety mouthfeel and a moderate length.
The nose combines cinnamon apple, dark rye bread, peppermint and vanilla. On the palate come vanilla and almond pastry with a little orange zest. The finish is soft, with sweet spice, mint choc-chip cookie and white pepper.
