Château de Laubade Les Curiosités de Laubade L'Agricole Bas-Armagnac

A limited-edition Bas-Armagnac from the Les Curiosités de Laubade collection. It is made from Baco and Ugni Blanc grown on the Château de Laubade estate, harvested, vinified and distilled in autumn 2012. The spirit spends about six years in Gascon oak, then a further six months in two casks that previously held rhum agricole from Clément in Martinique. The influence of the rum is kept measured, adding roundness and an unusual aromatic register. Vanilla, soft spice and citrus sit alongside the naturally fruity character of the Armagnac.
