This is a Chichibu single malt distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2012 at three years old, from the Ichiro's Malt The Floor Malted series. It was bottled at 50.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle, from an outturn of 8,800 bottles.
The nose is sweet, with honey, pears, peaches and red apples, along with vanilla and floral notes. Cereal and malt come through on the palate, joined by bitter oak and spice. The finish is long, spicy and malty, with a lingering sweetness.
