This is a seven-year-old Japanese single malt from the Chichibu distillery, distilled in 2013 and bottled by Adelphi at cask strength, 57.8%. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a single bourbon cask, number 3090, which gave 210 bottles in all.
The nose opens with grain, peach, apricot jam, black peppercorn and a hint of tobacco, then moves towards limoncello, honey and sweet barley. On the palate come cinnamon and turmeric, golden syrup, toffee and brown sugar, with lemonade, yuzu and meringue following.
