Chichibu – CODE Single Cask (70cl, 65.8%)

Chichibu CODE is a single cask Japanese whisky, bottled at a cask strength of 65.8% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from cask number 13002 and filled 179 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The box is fastened with a combination lock, and the puzzles printed on the back of the carton lead to the code. The notes describe exotic fruit, spice and Japanese sandalwood on the nose. The palate brings dark chocolate, honey sweetness, ripe peaches and subtle smoke, and the finish is long, balancing oak spice with fruit.
