Ichiro's Malt MWR Mizunara Wood Reserve is a Japanese pure malt from Chichibu Distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. Ichiro Akuto crafted it, and it was bottled in 2010.
It is a vatting of several single malt whiskies that were aged in Japanese Mizunara oak.
The nose is toasty and honeyed, with light citrus, sweetness and grapefruit. On the palate it is fruity, tangy, rich and spicy, with toffee apple and honey. The finish is short, very spicy and very sweet.
