Chichibu – London Edition 2018

Chichibu London Edition 2018 is a single malt from the Chichibu distillery in Saitama, Japan. It was released in 2018 as the first instalment in an annual London Edition series, and it comes from an edition of 929 bottles. The distillery opened in 2008 and was the idea of Ichiro Akuto, grandson of the founder of Hanyu distillery. It was the first new distillery in Japan since Suntory opened Hakushu in 1973. The first Chichibu releases appeared under the Ichiro's Malt brand in 2011.
