This is the 2019 London Edition from Chichibu, the Japanese distillery in Saitama that opened in 2008. It is the second instalment in an annual London Edition series and was released in 2019 to coincide with The Whisky Show.
Chichibu was founded by Ichiro Akuto, grandson of the founder of the Hanyu distillery, and its first releases under the Ichiro's Malt name appeared in 2011.
This edition was bottled as 1,405 bottles.
