Chichibu – Paris Edition 2019

This is the second release of the Paris Edition from Chichibu, a single malt bottled in 2019. It is bottle one of 1,757. Chichibu distillery in Saitama, Japan opened in 2008. It was founded by Ichiro Akuto, grandson of the founder of Hanyu distillery, and it was the first new Japanese distillery since Suntory opened Hakushu in 1973. The first Chichibu bottlings appeared in 2011 under the Ichiro's Malt name, a brand that dates from 2005.
