Chichibu – Paris Edition 2025 Asakusa (70cl, 50.5%)

A Japanese single malt from Chichibu, the Asakusa bottling of the 2025 Paris Edition. The edition uses a range of labels showing scenes from Paris and Tokyo, and this one celebrates Tokyo's historic Asakusa district. The whisky is a vatting of 17 casks: four new French oak, one Spanish oak sherry, three French oak Bordeaux red wine, one American oak hogshead, six bourbon barrels and two bourbon barrels that previously held heavily peated whisky. It is bottled at 50.5% in a 70cl bottle.
