Chichibu – Paris Edition 2025 Harajuku (70cl, 50.5%)

A single malt from Chichibu, overseen by Ichiro Akuto as part of a Paris and Tokyo dialogue. The Harajuku edition takes a pop, colourful approach, bringing an interplay of styles and textures to the Chichibu character. It is a blend of whiskies aged 5 to 14 years from a range of casks: French oak, sherry, Bordeaux and bourbon, along with a very peaty component. It is bottled at 50.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The character is expressive and fruity, with fine spices, a controlled earthy touch and a precise, catchy finish.
