Chichibu – Paris Edition 2025 Harajuku (70cl, 50.5%)

This is the 2025 Paris Edition from Chichibu, a collaboration between the distillery and La Maison du Whisky, bottled at 50.5% in a 70cl bottle. The Harajuku label pairs with Le Marais, and it is one of six label designs for the same vatting. Whiskies aged five to fourteen years from 17 casks were married, including new French oak, a Spanish ex-sherry cask, ex-Bordeaux red wine casks, an American oak hogshead and bourbon barrels, two of which held heavily peated whisky. It is limited to 2,484 numbered bottles, without colouring or chill-filtration. The nose is rich and creamy with passion fruit, lychee and blackberries. The palate is oily and honeyed, with peat, lemon and wax. The long finish is fresh, with mint, eucalyptus and sage.
