Chichibu – Paris Edition 2025 Le Marais Single Malt (70cl, 50.5%)

This is a Japanese single malt from Chichibu, released as the 2025 Le Marais edition of the Paris series. The series has paired design with Japanese whisky since 2018, and this edition takes its cue from the Marais, a district of workshops and galleries. It is a blend of malts aged between 5 and 14 years, drawn from French oak, sherry, Bordeaux and bourbon casks, some of them holding highly peated whisky. The bottles are numbered within a series running from 829 to 1242 and carry a pop graphic with jagged edges. Strength is 50.5%, in a 70cl bottle. The profile is described as balanced, with subtle earthy tension, crisp fruit and chiselled spice, ending in a finish with infused accents.
