This is the Paris Edition 2026 from Chichibu, a Japanese single malt in a 70cl bottle at 50.5% ABV. It is lightly peated, non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The whisky is a vatting of 14 casks: first and second fill bourbon barrels, oloroso sherry hogsheads and new American white oak. The whiskies in it are between six and twelve years old. The Collection Monet puts six Claude Monet paintings on the same whisky, and the Bleu bottle shows The Water Lily Pond and Path by the Water, from 1900. It is one of 414 bottles with this design, from a total of 2,484. The nose is fine and smooth, with candied lemon, pear, mirabelle, coconut and pine resin. The palate brings lemon, apple jelly, malt and white grape, and the finish is soft, with coconut, rice pudding, pineapple and liquorice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
