This is the Rouge version of the Chichibu Paris Edition 2026, a lightly peated Japanese single malt bottled at 50.5% in a 70cl bottle. It brings together whisky from 14 casks: first and second fill bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry hogsheads and new American white oak.
Six Monet paintings appear on the labels of this edition, while the whisky inside is the same. Rouge carries The Water Lily Pond of 1900 on a red label, and 414 of the 2,484 bottles have it.
The nose is smooth, with candied lemon, pear, mirabelle, coconut, pine resin and almond syrup. The palate is delicate and lively, with lemon, apple jelly and white grapes. The finish is soft and full, with coconut, rice pudding, pineapple and chalky minerality.
